Do you think tattoos are trashy and ghetto?

Ok I'm not trying to stereotype, for the longest time I've wanted some tattoos. They are very unique and self expressive, and original. However, I question if I really want them or not. I noticed that most people that have tattoo's are from low income areas and ghetto. Most hispanics, and blacks (not all cuz I know some blacks/hispanics will come in here saying there are plenty that dont have any) I'm hispanic as well so I am not discriminating. But I know blacks/hispanics are the minority, and the minority is usually more ghetto. Have you ever noticed that most classy people REGARDLESS of race, people who are elegant dont have tattoos? Have you noticed that most white americans, unless that make a favorable income don't have tattoos. Coincidence much? I dont wanna get tattoo self expressing myself, and forever be labeled as ghetto and low life, because I am a classy person. I know there are some people that have tattoos that are class but the vast majority of people u bump into with tattoos are trashy, your thoughts?
