Is it so hard for people to understand that people who say they are a Christian but don't follow Jesus?

are not Christians. Religion did not cause the catholic inquisition, for example. Religion was used by evil men who had power by their status, (not much unlike lawyers and politicians use their power today). If you don't like religion, fine, but stop trying to blame everything that every religious nut or deceptive person has ever done on those of us who had nothing to do with it. It's a childish way of trying to insult somebody, by distorting reality.
